When I read Ephesians 2:10, I see the following words: Identity and Purpose. As the verse states, God planned in advance what we are to be doing. This is based on who we are and how we have been purposed. We are created for God works in God’s Kingdom. We are to be Kingdom operators if you will. Operating in and out of the fullness that Ephesians talks about.
Our identity is in Christ. But each of us moves differently in the purpose and because of the purpose “…God prepared beforehand so that we should walk in them,” (Eph 2:10, MEV).
When we fill the space God created in advance for us to walk through with our own agenda, we miss out on experiencing all the fullness and blessing, peace and joy we were meant to walk in. Create your white space today by removing those things that hinder or bring you to a state of frustration. We are not supposed to be frustrated Kingdom operators. If this is you, please stop. You will not grow or be a help to anyone. Remember the height to which you were called. Do a heart check, humble out, and confess, according to I Chronicles 7:14. Check the motive of your heart, then stop, sit still, and listen to what the Spirit is saying.
God created you with purpose and gave you an assignment. Stop and look. Remember who you are. Then walk into it.
