I woke up this morning around 5:25 hearing the lyrics of Bethel’s “Closer” in my head.
“Pull me a little closer, take me a little deeper.
I want to know your heart, I want to know your heart.”
I’ve been listening to this song all morning.
As I studied some scriptures, this is what jumped out at me:
Jeremiah 6:16 says to stand by the roads and look. Ask for the ancient paths where the good way is. Then walk in it (emphasis mine).
John 10:10 mentions that the thief steals and kills. Jesus gives us life to enjoy and have in abundance.
John 15:5 encourages us to remain in Jesus, the Vine so that much fruit is born. John 8:36 shakes us to our senses that we are free. If the Son makes you free, you are!
Galatians 5:1 points to the Jeremiah 6:16 passage.
Matthew 11:28-29 motions to come to Jesus and to learn from Him.
John 15:11 encourages us to believe that Jesus has told us these things so that His joy and delight may be found in us and that our joy may be complete and overflowing.
Deuteronomy 8:18 speaks about the creative abilities you have to produce and create. Therefore, you should never be without. Tap into the creative that you are and build upon that!
Habakkuk 2:1-2 commands to write the vision/revelation and make it plain. Write down that spark of creativity you’ve been putting off. Pray on it, and then watch, listen for, and hear God’s direction on how to move it to the next level, according to verse 3. Even today, God gives us a word of revelation or knowledge concerning your business, a family member, or a friend.
